Dr Przemysław Nowogórski of the CSWU Faculty of History and Social Sciences Appointed Director of the Royal Łazienki Museum
On 1 January 2009 the Minister of Culture and National Heritage appointed dr Przemysław Nowogórski, an academic worker of the CSWU Faculty of History and Social Sciences, a director of the Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw for an indefinite period of time. The whole University community congratulate him on this occasion and wish him many successes in the new and responsible office.

Plenary Meeting of the Conference of the Polish Universities' Rectors
On 11-13 December 2008 there was held a plenary meeting of the Conference of Polish Rectors at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. It was the first session of the present tenure of Rectors' office.
Dr Fr Kazimierz Franczak of the CSWU Faculty of Pedagogic Sciences Received High Italian Distinction
President of the Republic of Italy, Giorgio Napolitano, has decorated Fr Kazimierz Fronczak with the Knight Cross of the Italian Solidarity Order for his commitment to the cooperation with the Italian institutions in Poland, especially for his help dedicated to juveniles.
Christmas Wafer Meeting 2008
